Escudo del municipio de Almazán (Soria - España), según el blasón: Ilustran su escudo siete panelas de plata, armas simbólicas de los condes de Altamira, en ancha bordura sobre campo de gules. En su centro nos muestra, como único emblema, una encina desarraigada; el metal de la copa es de azur, y el tronco de gules se perfila sobre fondo de plata, aludiendo a la fertilidad de sus bosques, montes, alamedas y demás frutos de que goza. La corona ducal de oro y pedrería lleva ocho florones y bonete en damasco de gules. Del coronel parten airosos lambrequines que flanquean simétricamente la cabecera del escudo. En la punta se añade una cinta de gules, de la que pende un medallón de oro con la cruz de Santiago, a cuya Orden Militar pertenecieron ilustres personajes de la villa.
